Stitching in Action was originally set up with the support of Stitches of Love and Kindness (SOLAK) to help aid the survivors of Hurricane Katrina in the USA and the Earthquake in Pakistan, India and Afghanistan.
We cross-stitched squares to be made into quilts to be auctioned and the proceeds go to a disaster relief fund.
We envisage this task taking a little time to complete. But we know that these people will need our help for some time to come, whilst they rebuild their lives.
The squares are currently being quilted. Information on the completed quilts will be posted on this website.
